PKF has adopted a set of principles that demonstrate our commitment to privacy. We have set out these principles so that you are aware of how we gather, update and distribute personal information.

PKF only collects information that is relevant to perform the activities necessary to pursue our duties and comply with legal requirements. The nature of this information will vary according to a person’s relationship with the firm and the work we are performing. Our objective is not to hold information it is not required we hold and to retain it only for as long as necessary to fulfil our provision of services to clients and to comply with any legal requirements

Access to this Information

Upon written request to the PKF Privacy Officer, assuming there are no legal reasons preventing us from doing so, PKF will provide clients with details of all personal information that we hold about them within a reasonable time period. Clients will be able to review this information and advise us of any amendments to the data held and may request PKF to delete any information held. Additionally, clients may decline to take part in certain marketing activities in the future by expressly advising us in writing. We will apply those instructions as soon as it is possible to do so.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

PKF will not sell personal information to outside parties. We will provide personal information to third parties where we are required to by law or where clients have expressly asked us to do so. At times we may use this information for client contact to provide information regarding services which may be of benefit to clients.

In some instances we need to disclose information to the professional bodies to which the firm belongs or to representatives of PKF who are conducting reviews of our practices and work quality.

Website and Contact Details

Technically, there are some things we need to do as part of providing websites and information to you. We may record your IP address and details of your access to our sites, we may place cookies on your computer to enable your web browser to search and find us efficiently. You are able to prevent cookies being stored on your computer by changing your preferences within your internet browser. This information is not matched with any personal information and remains anonymous.
We store any account sign-on details you have provided to us and record the information you have accessed so that we may provide relevant electronic client services to you. Likewise, we store information such as your email address so that we are able to contact you.
